Duke Childcare

Childcare centre at one of the main entrances to Castlemaine. The building is driven by the concept of 4 building buildings blocks. They each take a different colour and form, but share a similar masonry material. The colours are muted to create a “sun baked” effect, representing the surrounding landscape and environment, and to blend with the neighbouring buildings. The separate blocks concept continues on the inside where the internal walls and spaces are determined by the exterior forms.
